Beautiful girl portrait with flowers in her hair. All the sections are hand embroidered using a combination of the Bullion Knot. It’s an interesting stitch used to make simple motifs. I would say that this is an ‘elongated’ knot that can be used liberally to group together and make dense textures. This stitch gives an embossed look. Stem stitch is a type of embroidery that has been in use, since time immemorial. It’s a design created with criss-cross stitches. The earliest know Bayeux Tapestry is also made with stem stitches.

Washing Instructions – Hand Wash only in cold water with mild detergent. Do not wring or bleach. Dry flat in shade.
